Best Vegan 2 for 1 Affordable Food and Drinks Wellington

Everyone who lives in Wellington knows Chow. One of our favourite places to eat out in the city due to the affordability and yummyness, these guys serve fresh Asian cuisine with plenty of vegan options marked on the menu.

On Wednesday and Saturday nights they have 2 for 1 cocktails (careful!) and every Monday they do a 2 for 1 deal on dishes. They even have a $15 lunch special during the week! Also available on most delivery apps.

The Library is a quirky little cocktail bar out the back of Chow. With walls of books on display, it could nearly trick you into thinking it was an actual library If it wasn’t for the bar in the corner and the live music out the back.

Serving snacks and desserts, it’s the perfect spot for your intimate date night or catching up with pals. This bar has a range of unique cocktails, with a 2 for 1 cocktail special every Wednesday for student night, and a 2 for 1 on desserts every Tuesday. This time telling your mum you’re going to The Library isn’t even a lie!

Rockyard is a Vietnamese Restaurant we will never stop recommending to people. The only place in Wellington where we have been able to find an authentic, vegan version of the Vietnamese pancake, known as a bánh xèo.

Definitely great value for money when it comes to the portion sizes, and plenty of vegan and vegetarian options! Perfect for a family dinner or just for a treat. The best part is they have a 2 for 1 meals deal every Tuesday!

Belen is a very popular vegan bakery just off of Lambton Quay. With lovely staff and an amazing selection of vegan goods, make sure you get in before 12 pm if you don’t want to risk everything being sold out!

They have a menu that changes every month, selling everything from pies to cronuts, to sandwiches. They even have a coffee machine! With food so damn delicious even the omnivores are obsessed.

Tuesdays’ deal is 4 donuts for $20, with other specials throughout the week. If you’re looking to support local and support vegan businesses, then this should be your go-to bakery!

If you are a vegan in Wellington we’re sure you have already visited this popular Italian restaurant. Nolita is a 100% plant-based pizzeria and pastaria on upper Cuba.

Doing a $15 pizza deal Monday to Friday from 12pm-3pm, this restaurant is definitely a must to satisfy those cheese cravings! On their pizzas, in the burgers, on the loaded fries, everything is fantastic. Those omnivores wouldn’t even know they weren’t eating real cheese!

Our go-to pizzas are the Pizza Patatine (shaved potato with cashew mozzarella) and the Parmigiana (charred aubergine with smoked cheese). We’re certain this is the best vegan pizza in Wellington by a mile.

Little Beer Quarter (LBQ) is the ideal spot for your pub-food cravings. With a large range of tap beers on rotation and awesome weekday specials, you could eat here every day!

While there isn’t a vegan 2 for 1, there are other deals to keep you going. In addition to a $15 lunch special from Tuesday to Thursday, this pub also has a $30 deal on Mondays and Wednesdays which includes a pint of beer with either a pizza or a burger.

What’s more the vegan selection is extensive, consisting of pizzas, a salad and a burger option, as well as a few snacks all marked clearly as ‘VEGAN’ on the menu. Hidden down an alley off Victoria St, LBQ is your next favourite pub.
